Demo-ing Mesh

Hoodie
A few of the designers have jumped onto the mesh bandwagon.  I heard them thundering by and just had to pick up some demos to see what it was all about.
I received a notecard from Jane and had to go to her shop to see the mesh.
Tunic Dress

She had several different items in mesh and I picked up the demo for each of them.  I wanted to see what all this hype is about.

Poncho, hoodie, V-neck sweater and my favorite -- the Tunic Dress.
Poncho
Janie has a great note in the demo box about how to make mesh work for you.  It was well-written and helped to keep the fear of change to a minimum.
V-Neck Sweater
So, don't be a scared-y cat like me and go check out mesh for yourself.

Color-change and changing skylines...

I finally got around to investigating scripts for incorporating color-change menus to Heroic Soles.
I started with these cute little boots with a ringed cuff.  I'm going to call them "Circus Rings" until something better comes along.  The base and the cuff can be changed separately.  (Don't get excited about the tall boots just yet, I still have build them.  That's just a quick toss-together to see how it would look.  They'll be coming soon-ish.)  They aren't quite ready for the store, but there are a couple pair out there being tested by a few of my friends.
I also changed the skyline in downtown Enterprise Harbor to fit the scale of the place a little better.
Hazamar helped me put in this archway with the nice texture that doesn't make that look like the edge of the sim.  We also improved the sewer system, so go exploring, if you dare.

Back with a passion.

I'm back from my extended absence.

I'm also back with a passion for sprucing up the sim.

Since Linden Lab was kind enough to let me make prims bigger than 10m x 10m, I have been making some minor changes around Enterprise Harbor
The park in downtown has been redesigned.  Please drop by and let me know if needs anything.
Afterward, I figured I deserved a moment of reflection.  Hazamar was kind enough to join me.

Gloss Doll by +DV8+

I love the fun stuff that +DV8+ puts out for the group.
This is Gloss Doll in Sky.

Sure, I took entirely too many pictures, but I thought I just too damn cute not to share.

You can even get the shoes to match.  Gloss Doll Platform Janes in Sky.

So, check out +DV8+ in Second Life and get yourself a great outfit.

Bad Girl

I played with creating shapes the other day.  I was inspired by some of the people I found myself among.  I'm constantly amazed at the lack of realistic noses in Second Life.  Everyone seems to want the smallest, cutest nose instead of a nose that really fits the avatar it is attached to.

I moved sliders left and right until I had this shape.  I dressed her in some of the pieces of the latest fishing outfit from Sn@tch to give her a bit of a bad-girl look.

I apologize for the quality of the images.  My laptop doesn't do her justice.

Travel

I'll be off for a couple months.  Since I won't be able to go in-world, or have great access to email, I ask that you hold your IMs until my return.  If you need help with something, Hazamar will be available.  I'll miss all of my friends while I'm gone.

Hugs and kisses,
Barb

Dark Future Hunt

A friend tuned me in to the Dark Future Hunt in-world.  I couldn't resist taking a picture at Grim Bros. while searching for the hidden treasures.
